NO DOUBLE PAY Leaving Showpad

How to leave Showpad without paying for two platforms.

Showpad contracts renew themselves unless notice lands 60 to 90 days before the end date. Give notice inside the window, move to SoloFire free until that date, and our first invoice is dated the month Showpad's last one stops. Migration of your Showpad content and courses is included, then a normal 12 month term.

Showpad Contract you already pay for, runs to its end date SoloFire Free. Migrated, trained, live. Paid. Normal 12 month term. You sign Their contract ends First SoloFire invoice Months you pay two vendors: 0. Overlap covered up to 6 months.

When do you have to give notice?

Most enablement contracts auto-renew unless written notice arrives 60 to 90 days before the end date. Enter yours and see the deadline and how much free overlap you would get.

A reminder, not legal advice. Your contract sets the real notice period. We never contact your vendor.

Did your renewal quote look like this?

The same four things come up in almost every evaluation we run with a mid-sized field team. If two of them sound familiar, the renewal is the moment to look around.

    01

The price went up. Adoption didn't.

Same team, same content, a higher renewal, and reps still open it about as often as they did last year.

    02

AI is in the tier you don't have

Role-play, AI search, and coaching exist on the platform. Getting to them means a bigger contract.

    03

    Support became a ticket queue

You used to have a person. Now you have a portal, a number, and a response window.

    04

Reps still download decks in the parking lot

Large files, flattened PowerPoints, and an app that needs signal in a building that has none.

    What happened to Showpad?

Showpad is now a private-equity-owned combination of two platforms. Not a reason to panic. A reason to get commitments in writing before you renew.

Vector Capital agrees to acquire Showpad

Vector already owned Bigtincan; the stated plan was to combine the two.

    Acquisition closes

Showpad and Bigtincan merge under the Showpad brand with a new CEO. Two product lines are being unified.

Two platforms with overlapping content, training, and analytics products are becoming one. Features migrate, admin experiences change, support organizations combine. In the Showpad evaluations we are part of, the roadmap question rarely gets a straight answer. Ask for the integration timeline and the support commitment in writing before you renew.

What do Showpad teams tell us is broken?

From live SoloFire evaluations with Showpad customers in medical device and life sciences.

PowerPoint uploads that drop slides and animations

Marketing builds an animated deck; the field presents a flattened version. SoloFire keeps slides, animations, and embedded video intact.

    Forced downloads before a meeting

A rep in a hospital told to download a large deck before walking in. SoloFire caches approved content on the device in the background.

    Analytics nobody trusts

Numbers that lag or do not reconcile. Pulse reports per contact and per file with real-time alerts, and reps see their own.

    A separate admin portal

Admins bounce between a console and the rep app. SoloFire manages content, users, training, and analytics in one place.

What does No Double Pay include?

    A normal term after that

Twelve months, then it's your call

When the overlap ends, a standard one-year agreement starts. We are not trading free months for a long lock-in.

    • Offline by architecture. Every approved file is cached on the device. Reps present and share in hospitals and ORs with no signal.
    • PowerPoint stays PowerPoint. Slides, animations, and embedded video survive the upload.
    • Analytics reps see too. Pulse shows who opened what and for how long, per contact and per file, in the rep's own app.
    • AI coaching in every plan. Reps practice the OR conversation or the payer objection against a realistic persona, and get scored before it counts. Not an add-on at renewal.
    • LMS and Spark AI included too. SCORM courses, certifications, and an AI that answers from your own approved content.

What do buyers ask about leaving Showpad?

Cancellation, notice periods, what comes over, and what the overlap covers.

    Send us your end date
Generally not without paying the remaining term. What you can do is prevent the next term by delivering non-renewal notice inside the window your contract specifies, then switch before the end date. No Double Pay is built for that: SoloFire runs free from signature to your Showpad end date, and you pay Showpad only what you already owed.
Your contract controls. The agreements we see commonly require written notice 60 or 90 days before the end of the term, sometimes by a specified method. Use the checker above, then confirm the clause in your Order Form or MSA.
Your existing contract stays in force. What tends to change at renewal is packaging, support structure, and product direction. Ask for the integration timeline and support commitments in writing before renewing.
Yes. Files export from Showpad and import to SoloFire as files; folders, tags, and permissions are rebuilt with your admin; SCORM imports directly and other training is converted. Migration is included, not quoted as services.
No. SoloFire does not pay Showpad or any vendor and does not take on your obligation. We delay our own billing so you never pay two platforms in the same month.
A standard 12 month subscription starting the month your Showpad contract ends. Pricing is one number, $30 per user per month with everything included, published on the pricing page.

Send us your contract end date and we'll map the switch.

Notice deadline, months of overlap covered, and a written first-invoice date. No quote that expires.

One-time fees, if any, for a separately scoped custom project are invoiced at signature. Migration and onboarding services are included as described in the Order Form. Proof of the incumbent contract end date may be requested. SoloFire does not pay, credit, or negotiate with any other vendor on the customer's behalf. SoloFire may modify or withdraw this program at any time; terms in an executed Order Form are not affected. Governed by the SoloFire Master Subscription Agreement.
