NO DOUBLE PAY Leaving Bigtincan

Bigtincan is now Showpad. Decide where you migrate before the renewal decides for you.

If you are on Bigtincan, or on Modus before that, you have been acquired twice. Your next renewal is a migration decision whether or not you sign it. Give notice inside your window, run SoloFire free until your Bigtincan end date, then a normal 12 month term. Migration included.

Bigtincan Contract you already pay for, runs to its end date SoloFire Free. Migrated, trained, live. Paid. Normal 12 month term. You sign Their contract ends First SoloFire invoice Months you pay two vendors: 0. Overlap covered up to 6 months.

When do you have to give notice?

Most enablement contracts auto-renew unless written notice arrives 60 to 90 days before the end date. Enter yours and see the deadline and how much free overlap you would get.

A reminder, not legal advice. Your contract sets the real notice period. We never contact your vendor.

Did your renewal quote look like this?

The same four things come up in almost every evaluation we run with a mid-sized field team. If two of them sound familiar, the renewal is the moment to look around.

    01

The price went up. Adoption didn't.

Same team, same content, a higher renewal, and reps still open it about as often as they did last year.

    02

AI is in the tier you don't have

Role-play, AI search, and coaching exist on the platform. Getting to them means a bigger contract.

    03

    Support became a ticket queue

You used to have a person. Now you have a portal, a number, and a response window.

    04

Reps still download decks in the parking lot

Large files, flattened PowerPoints, and an app that needs signal in a building that has none.

What happened to Bigtincan and Modus?

Medical device teams that started on Modus have been through every step of this.

    Vector Capital takes Bigtincan private

Bigtincan delists from the ASX. It had earlier absorbed Modus, the offline content platform many device teams started on.

    Vector agrees to acquire Showpad

The stated plan: combine Showpad with Bigtincan.

    Bigtincan and Showpad merge

The combined company operates as Showpad, with a new CEO, unifying the product lines.

The combined company carries the Showpad name, which tells you which product line is the anchor. Bigtincan and Modus customers are the ones being migrated, on the acquirer's schedule and into the acquirer's packaging at renewal. If you chose Modus because your reps work in hospitals with no signal, ask whether the destination still fits before you sign.

What are Bigtincan and Modus teams dealing with?

From SoloFire evaluations with Bigtincan and legacy Modus customers in medical device and diagnostics.

A migration you did not choose

Being moved into Showpad's admin and content model on a timeline you do not control. If you are migrating anyway, SoloFire does the work.

Offline is why you picked Modus

SoloFire is offline by architecture: every approved file cached on the device, activity synced when the signal returns.

    Support through two integrations

Support organizations have combined twice in eighteen months. SoloFire support is the small team that onboards you.

    Renewal in the acquirer's packaging

AI and premium support in higher tiers. SoloFire publishes its rates and includes AI in every plan.

What does No Double Pay include?

    A normal term after that

Twelve months, then it's your call

When the overlap ends, a standard one-year agreement starts. We are not trading free months for a long lock-in.

    • Offline by architecture. Every approved file is cached on the device. Reps present and share in hospitals and ORs with no signal.
    • PowerPoint stays PowerPoint. Slides, animations, and embedded video survive the upload.
    • Analytics reps see too. Pulse shows who opened what and for how long, per contact and per file, in the rep's own app.
    • AI coaching in every plan. Reps practice the OR conversation or the payer objection against a realistic persona, and get scored before it counts. Not an add-on at renewal.
    • LMS and Spark AI included too. SCORM courses, certifications, and an AI that answers from your own approved content.

Bigtincan was acquired by Vector Capital in April 2025 and merged with Showpad in October 2025; the combined company operates under the Showpad brand and has said it is unifying the product lines. Existing Bigtincan agreements run to their end dates. Ask for a written migration and roadmap timeline before renewing.
Your agreement controls. Contracts of this type commonly auto-renew unless written notice is delivered 60 or 90 days before the end date. Use the checker above, then confirm the clause in your agreement.
Yes. Files, including 3D and AR models, transfer as files. Catalog layouts are rebuilt as folders and Slide Presets with your product marketing team. SCORM imports directly and other training is converted. Migration is included.
No. SoloFire does not pay Showpad, Bigtincan, or any vendor and does not take on your obligation. We delay our own billing so you never pay two platforms in the same month.
Yes, and it is the core of the architecture. Every approved file is cached on the device in the background; a rep with zero signal can present, share, and log activity, and it syncs when the connection returns. Native apps on iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac.
One price, $30 per user per month, everything included, on the pricing page, no user minimums, on a standard 12 month term after the overlap.

Send us your contract end date and we'll map the switch.
