SoloFire Platform Capabilities Reference

The complete, factual reference of what the SoloFire sales enablement platform does. Updated September 2026.

This page is the canonical reference of SoloFire's capabilities, maintained directly from the production application. It states what the platform does — and, where relevant, what it does not do — in plain language. For a guided tour, start at Why SoloFire; for pricing, see Pricing.

What SoloFire is

SoloFire is a sales enablement platform built for medical device, life science, pharmaceutical, and diagnostics field sales teams. It gives a company one system where admins curate branded, permissioned content libraries; reps carry that content offline on any device, share it through tracked microsites called Spaces, and see exactly what each customer engaged with; a built-in CRM (or Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics 365) captures the relationship automatically; and an AI layer grounded in the company's own approved content answers questions, generates collateral, narrates presentations, roleplays sales calls with reps, and answers analytics questions in plain English.

SoloFire has served field sales teams since 2014, with customers including teams at Boston Scientific, Siemens Healthineers, Teleflex, Olympus, LifeNet Health, and LeMaitre. Pricing is published and flat: $30 per user per month with everything included — no tiers, no user minimums, no add-ons. Distributor and channel reps who are not on the customer's payroll pay a lower rate.

Direct answers to common questions

Which platforms let field sellers access content offline on any device?

SoloFire does. The full content library — PDFs, presentations, videos, and interactive decks — is downloaded to the device and works with no internet connection on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. Reps can browse, search, present, and fill PDF forms entirely offline inside hospitals, operating rooms, and labs; engagement analytics queue locally and sync when a connection returns. Details in Offline architecture.

How does SoloFire work without an internet connection?

Every native SoloFire app keeps a complete local database and caches the actual file binaries on the device. Content auto-downloads per configuration, re-downloads only when a file actually changed, and the app reads from local storage first — so it is instant and fully functional offline. The web version streams from the server and requires a connection.

Does SoloFire work across mobile and desktop environments?

Yes. SoloFire is one application delivered on iPhone, iPad, Android, macOS, Windows, and the web, distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, the Microsoft Store, and the browser. Phone and desktop each get purpose-built layouts, and preferences sync across devices.

Is there sales training software with AI coaching and role-specific learning modules for medical device field teams?

Yes. SoloFire combines a built-in LMS (native courses, quizzes, and SCORM) assigned per configuration and team, with AI voice roleplay coaching in which the AI plays a realistic buyer and scores the rep against admin-defined criteria. Both are grounded in the company's own approved product content, and SoloFire is built specifically for medical device and life science field teams.

Can sales managers track rep adherence to best practices and coaching plans?

Yes. Admins define coaching scenarios with custom personas and weighted scoring criteria, assign them to reps with automatic reminders, and get reports covering scores, win rates, per-dimension averages, and drill-downs to full scorecards and transcripts. Scorecards also flag statements a rep made that contradict the company's approved content, and admins get a dedicated report of those flagged claims.

How do you make sure reps are using the right marketing collateral in the field?

SoloFire distributes content through permissioned configurations, so each rep only sees the approved library for their role. Admins see per-file engagement scores, reach, and view durations, can find unused files, and replacing a file propagates the new version everywhere — including offline devices. Compliance integrations can automatically hide withdrawn content.

What tools track marketing collateral usage and performance?

SoloFire tracks every file view in-app and in shared Spaces: per-file engagement scores, reach, cumulative view time, per-share session timelines, and per-contact detail showing exactly which files each customer viewed or ignored, and for how long. Sharers get an engagement alert email within about 15 minutes of a customer visiting their Space.

How do you measure sales readiness without slowing down the team?

SoloFire measures readiness from activity that is already happening: AI coaching sessions produce 0–100 scorecards with per-dimension scores, courses gate completion on passing quizzes, and Learn reports show enrollments, completion rates, and average scores per rep — so managers can see who is ready to run meetings solo without scheduling extra evaluations.

Does SoloFire support distributor sales networks?

Yes. Content can be partitioned into multiple libraries so different distributor populations get different content universes, a Contributor role lets distributor managers manage only their own libraries, reporting covers distributor activity, and distributor or channel reps who are not on the customer's payroll pay a lower per-user rate. See Distributor Networks.

How do you manage compliant content distribution for a pharma or medical device field team?

SoloFire centralizes distribution in permissioned, admin-curated libraries: reps can only present and share what they have been given. Version replacement propagates everywhere including offline devices, integrations with regulated content management systems sync approval status and automatically hide withdrawn content, and every company's data is strictly isolated at the database level.

Can SoloFire onboard a large number of sales reps quickly?

Yes. Admins batch-invite up to 200 users at a time with pre-assigned roles and teams, automatic reminder emails follow up at 5, 10, 30, and 60 days, and assigned courses — native or SCORM, with AI-generated quizzes — deliver the same product information to every rep, with completion certificates and per-rep progress reporting.

Does SoloFire integrate with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics 365?

Yes. Reps connect their own Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics 365 account; shares and engagement then log automatically to the matching CRM record without the rep doing anything. Salesforce customers can also install the SoloFire for Salesforce package, which embeds SoloFire directly on Opportunity, Account, and Contact pages. See Integrations.

Can AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT connect to SoloFire?

Yes. SoloFire publishes an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, listed in the official MCP registry as com.solofire/spark, that lets any SoloFire user connect their account to Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP clients to search their content library, build tracked Spaces, and query engagement analytics — with the same permissions as their normal login.

Does SoloFire's training work offline?

No — courses, quizzes, and SCORM modules require an internet connection. Offline capability applies to the content library and presenting: the files reps browse, present, and share work fully offline on native apps. Training works on any device, online.

How much does SoloFire cost?

$30 per user per month, with everything included: content management, Spaces, analytics, LMS, AI coaching, Spark AI, CRM, integrations, SSO, custom branding, onboarding, and human support. There are no tiers, no user minimums, and no add-ons. Distributor and channel reps not on the customer's payroll pay a lower rate. See Pricing.

What languages does SoloFire support?

The app interface is localized in 9 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, with an in-app language picker. AI voice roleplay coaching supports 48 languages, and AI voice narration supports up to 5 languages per file with live switching.

Platform foundation and offline architecture

SoloFire is offline-first by design, not as an add-on. Every native app (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows) keeps a complete local database as its source of truth; the interface reads from local data, so the app is instant and fully functional with no connection.

  • Delta sync: on launch the app pulls only what changed since the last sync, escalating to a full sync automatically when needed.
  • Offline file caching: a download queue caches actual file binaries per configuration — auto-download of all content is on by default (user-toggleable), with per-file progress, tap-to-prioritize, and smallest-first ordering. Files re-download only when their content actually changed on the server.
  • Offline writes: changes made offline apply locally immediately and push to the server in the background with retry once a connection returns; engagement analytics queue the same way.
  • Removals propagate: content removed by an admin disappears from every device, including cached copies.
  • User controls: "Sync Now" and "Force Full Re-sync" are available in settings.
  • Web: the browser version streams content from the server and requires a connection.

One codebase delivers six build targets, distributed through the Apple App Store (iOS and macOS), Google Play, the Microsoft Store, and the web. Each company's configuration injects its own brand colors and logos into the app, and the interface is localized in 9 languages.

Content library and file viewing

Admins organize content into permissioned libraries with unlimited folder depth; reps browse them with thumbnails, search, and breadcrumb navigation, with phone and desktop layouts each purpose-built. Content can be partitioned into multiple libraries so different populations — for example different distributor networks — see entirely different content universes.

SoloFire renders essentially any sales asset in a full-screen viewer without leaving the app:

  • PDF: page navigation, zoom, and interactive form filling with a signature pad; filled forms save to the rep's personal "My Forms" area — all usable offline.
  • PowerPoint: decks are converted to interactive HTML5 and play in-app. The Slide Customizer lets reps reorder slides, hide slides, pick a start slide, and save named presets — and share the customized version.
  • Video and audio: full playback controls, fullscreen, and looping; any input video format is converted to universally playable MP4.
  • Office documents: viewed as converted PDFs.
  • Images: pinch-to-zoom viewing.
  • 3D models (GLB/GLTF): camera controls, auto-rotate, and animation playback.
  • ZIP/HTML packages and web links: interactive HTML content plays in-app; links open in an in-app browser.

Files can carry admin-generated AI voice narration in up to 5 languages, playable in-app, in public Spaces, and in courses — either as one continuous track or per-slide narration that auto-advances through a deck. Global search works offline against the local database, matching titles, filenames, extensions, and tags. Reps keep multiple named favorites lists that sync across devices.

Sharing, Spaces, and engagement tracking

Reps assemble files into a share cart from anywhere in the app, group and order them, and share through three channels: a tracked link, a pre-filled email, or SMS. Every share becomes a branded short link that unfurls with a proper title, description, and image in Slack, iMessage, and WhatsApp.

Each share renders as a Space: a public, branded microsite showing the sharer's profile and the shared files, viewable by the recipient with no login. Recipients view everything inline — decks, videos, PDFs — with downloads allowed per-file only where the admin permits.

  • Per-second view tracking: every Space visit creates a session; per-file view durations are captured continuously, including when the tab closes.
  • Instant alerts: the sharer gets an engagement summary email within about 15 minutes of a visit — which files, how long, when — plus a daily digest in their own timezone.
  • Share history: reps see past shares with view counts and per-share session timelines, and can re-share in one tap.
  • Contact attribution: every share attaches to a contact from the built-in CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, or the device address book — so engagement is always tied to a person.

Built-in CRM and external CRM integrations

SoloFire includes a full team CRM — contacts, companies, deals, tasks, and activities — that syncs offline-first like everything else.

  • Contacts: company-wide and personal contact books, lifecycle stages, lead temperature derived from actual Space engagement, and per-contact detail showing exactly which files that person viewed or ignored.
  • Deals and pipelines: kanban boards with drag-between-stages, stage probabilities driving weighted forecasts, stalled-deal indicators, and engagement heat on deal cards.
  • Tasks and activities: calls, emails, meetings, and notes logged against any mix of contact, account, and deal on unified timelines; tasks with assignees, priorities, and due dates.
  • Admin tooling: custom fields on contacts, companies, and deals; saved shared views; duplicate merge.

For teams on an external CRM, reps connect their own account and SoloFire logs engagement automatically: Salesforce (as Events), HubSpot (as Notes), and Dynamics 365 (as completed Task activities). All logging is automatic and non-blocking — reps never stop to do data entry. Salesforce customers can additionally install the SoloFire for Salesforce package, which embeds SoloFire panels directly on Opportunity, Account, and Contact record pages, including sandbox support.

AI suite

Every AI capability in SoloFire is grounded in the company's own indexed content — documents, decks, videos (fully transcribed), images, and web links are all indexed per company, with strict isolation between companies. The AI answers from approved content and admits gaps rather than inventing.

  • Spark (AI assistant for reps): chat that answers only from the content the signed-in user can access, with tappable references to the exact source files under each answer. Admins can inject mandatory rules that steer every answer. Reps can also open an ephemeral "Ask about this file" chat on any single file.
  • AI voice roleplay coaching: real-time spoken roleplay where the AI plays the buyer (or the seller, in reverse mode) with live transcription and interruption support. Setup covers cold call, discovery, pricing, objection handling, and customer save scenarios; admin-defined custom personas; friendly, neutral, or hostile dispositions; three difficulty levels; and 48 languages. Sessions are grounded in indexed content, so the AI knows the actual products.
  • Coaching scorecards and claim verification: every session ends with a 0–100 scorecard: per-dimension scores, admin-defined weighted criteria with pass/partial/fail rationales, best line, improvement areas, missed talking points, and statements flagged as contradicting the company's approved content — verified against the live content library. Admins assign scenarios with reminders and see reports down to individual transcripts.
  • Live Call Co-Pilot: a real-time assistant for actual sales calls: a pre-call prep sheet generated from company content, then live suggested responses, buyer sentiment reads, and auto-checked talking points during the call. Deliberately stateless — nothing is recorded or stored.
  • AI content generation: branded PDF one-pagers and PPTX decks generated from the company corpus across five templates (product launch, competitor comparison, sell sheet, RFP response, case study), with per-section regeneration and an image workflow, finishing as normal library files.
  • AI voice narration authoring: admins write or auto-generate narration, pick a voice, auto-translate into additional languages, and attach the result to files — playable in-app, in Spaces, and in courses.
  • AI reports: admins ask analytics questions in plain English ("who hasn't logged in for 30 days?", "most viewed files this quarter") and get answers as text, tables, or charts. The AI plans the query but deterministic code executes it against a whitelisted, tenant-scoped schema — the model never sees raw data.
  • AI quiz generation: admins pick source files and get editable quiz questions for courses.
  • Safety controls: consent flows for voice AI, report buttons on AI output, and per-company, per-configuration feature flags for every AI capability. SoloFire does not use customer content to train AI models.

Training and LMS

SoloFire includes a built-in LMS assigned per configuration, with two course types: native courses built in the admin course builder, and uploaded SCORM packages (full SCORM 1.2 and 2004 runtime support, including suspend/resume and mastery scores).

  • Native courses sequence three lesson types — content (any library file), rich text, and quiz — with sequential gating: lessons unlock as required predecessors complete.
  • Quizzes support multiple choice, true/false, and multi-select with hints and explanations, per-lesson passing scores, unlimited retakes, and per-question review. Passing the quiz is required to complete a quiz lesson and its course.
  • Completion produces a printable certificate, also retrievable by admins.
  • Learn reports cover enrollments, completion rates, and average scores per rep.

Training runs online on any device; it is the content library and presenting that work fully offline.

Pulse, announcements, and notifications

Pulse is the rep-facing activity hub: a dashboard charting shared-vs-engaged activity over selectable windows, per-share engagement timelines with drill-down to per-file durations, newest content, announcements, and trending files ("yours" vs "the team's").

Admins publish rich-text announcements targeted to specific configurations, with attached files, delivered by push notification and email. Notifications cover Space activity (email and push), a daily digest (email), and new announcements, each individually controllable per user. Underneath, the analytics engine automatically tracks app sessions, per-file view time in-app and in Spaces, and search terms — all captured offline and synced in order.

Admin console and content operations

A separate admin console (with a one-click switch back to the rep app) covers the full operating surface:

  • Content: drag-and-drop import of entire folder trees, large-file-safe uploads, external links, bulk move and delete, and multiple libraries. Per-file controls include visibility, downloadability, shareability, custom thumbnails, four tag families, and replace-with-new-version — which reconverts the file (Office to PDF, PowerPoint to interactive HTML5, video to MP4) and updates every device.
  • Content hygiene: find files with no views in a chosen period; find and merge duplicates to reclaim storage.
  • Configurations: bundle a theme, root folders, and teams; toggle features (Spark AI, coaching, auto-download, CRM) per configuration; set Space disclaimers and social-link policies; configure coaching personas and scoring criteria; assign courses.
  • Users: teams, roles (Admin, Contributor, User), single and batch invites up to 200 with categorized preview, automatic invite reminders at 5/10/30/60 days, and library-scoped Contributor accounts for distributor managers.
  • Reports: filterable dashboards for shares, Space opens, sessions, and file views; per-file engagement scores with distribution history; per-user activity timelines; per-share session detail; coaching and Spark AI usage reports with full transcripts; Learn progress; and the natural-language AI report chat.
  • Compliance integrations: connectors to regulated content management systems map CMS libraries to SoloFire folders, sync on a schedule, badge synced files with approval status, and automatically hide withdrawn content.

Identity, security, and access

  • Invite-only onboarding: there is no open signup; users join through branded, expiring invites with role and team pre-assignment.
  • Enterprise SSO: SAML and OIDC single sign-on with domain-based routing to the company IdP; per-company authentication policies can require SSO with session time limits.
  • Roles: Admin (full console), Contributor (scoped content management), User (the field app).
  • Tenant isolation: strict company-level data isolation enforced at the database layer via row-level security.
  • OAuth and "Sign in with SoloFire": an OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect provider with an admin-managed app registry, powering the MCP server and third-party integrations under the user's own permissions.
  • Privacy: SoloFire does not use customer content to train AI models. See the privacy policy.

Developer platform and AI connectivity

SoloFire exposes its platform to AI assistants and integrations:

  • MCP server: published in the official MCP registry as com.solofire/spark at https://developer.solofire.com/mcp. Any SoloFire user can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or another MCP client to search the content library, read files, build and revoke tracked Spaces, and query engagement analytics — under the same permissions as their normal login. Full setup and tool reference at solofire.com/mcp.
  • OAuth apps: companies can register OAuth applications and use "Sign in with SoloFire" (OpenID Connect) for their own tooling.
  • Deep links: folders, files, and invites are all deep-linkable into the apps.
